IT landscape analysis: first, get clear on what you have

We map your current systems, connections and processes, show where they get in each other's way and set that against our fixed packages.

    The problem

    The problem you probably recognise

You know the current system no longer fits. What you do not know is what exactly you need. Separate tools sit side by side, data is entered twice and nobody has the whole picture.

Meanwhile everyone internally has an opinion. Finance wants grip on the figures, operations wants speed on the floor, sales wants visibility in the pipeline. Without a shared view of the situation, the choice becomes a compromise. The bill arrives during implementation, when it turns out the system does not quite fit the process you actually have.

A wrong choice is rarely visible right away. You only see it later, in customisation, in workarounds and in an implementation that overruns.

    Our role

    What Operion does

We are an implementation partner for Uniconta, BizBloqs and Zoho, and we supply licences for these platforms. We tell you this up front, so you know where our interest lies. This means we do not advise on other systems. In an IT landscape analysis we show what you have today, what stays and which of our packages fits your operation. You make the choice yourself.

We start with your processes, not a feature list. What actually happens today in purchasing, warehouse, planning, invoicing or service delivery? Where is the pain, where is the volume, where is the risk? We translate that analysis into a limited set of requirements that matter.

We then set those requirements against our packages, including the connections you need with existing systems. That includes the fit-to-standard conversation: how many of your exceptions do you really want to keep, and what does that cost?

The result is an overview of your IT landscape, a proposal for one package or a combination, and an implementation plan that follows from it. Not a report for the drawer, but a document you can use to take the next step.

    Process

How the process runs: from discovery to go-live

    1. 01

      Mapping the landscape

We record your systems, connections and processes with the people on the floor and with management, and name the bottlenecks.

    2. 02

      Requirements and fit-to-standard

A compact set of requirements, with each exception tested for whether it is really needed. This is the foundation for a fit-to-standard implementation later on.

    3. 03

      Package and combination

We set your requirements against our packages and decide whether Uniconta, BizBloqs, Zoho or a combination fits.

    4. 04

      Proposal and route to go-live

A proposal covering the links to your existing systems, and an implementation plan with phases, roles and a realistic timeline to go-live.

    Who it is for

    Who we do this for

Our IT landscape analysis is for growing businesses in logistics, wholesale and business services. Companies that have outgrown separate tools but have no internal IT department that can run this process. Decisions sit with management or the leadership team.

Typical questions we take on: which Uniconta package fits our trading processes, do we need a warehouse system alongside our ERP, and could we carry on with what we have if we reconfigured it? We always ask that last question. Sometimes the best result is a better setup of the current system.

Once the choice is made, we can also carry out the IT implementation or take on the project management .

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

Do you also advise on other systems?

No. We implement Uniconta, BizBloqs and Zoho and supply licences for them. We say so at the start. If none of our packages fits, we say that honestly.

We already have a preference. Is an analysis still worthwhile?

Yes, and often especially then. We set that preference against your own process and our packages. If it fits, you have a rationale. If not, you find out before the signature.
